</TD></TR><TR><TD vAlign=top colSpan=3>Chiefs coach Todd Haley did not sound optimistic about the chances of Dwayne Bowe (hamstring) facing the Giants in Week 4.
"Anytime you’re talking about a hamstring, especially with a skill position, you’ve got to err on the side of caution because those things can end up being a long-term thing," Haley said. Mark Bradley and Bobby Wade would start if Bowe can't go. Bowe will likely be "limited" all week in practice, then "questionable" on Friday. At less than 100 percent and with Giants shutdown CB Corey Webster on tap, he's someone to consider sitting even if he plays.

</TD></TR><TR><TD class=vaLink>Bowe didn't play in Week 3 and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants. Gretz noted that Bowe moved with more power on his injured hamstring than he did on Thursday. Bowe is a true game-time decsion for the 1ET start and has a tough matchup with Giants CB Corey Webster. Still, he's a tough guy to bench if he's active.

</TD></TR><TR><TD vAlign=top colSpan=3>NFL suspended Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe four games for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing substances.
The suspension begins immediately and will keep Bowe out until Week 15. Bowe reported to spring workouts 30 pounds overweight, and ESPN's Adam Schefter "gathers" that Bowe took a diuretic to shed the extra pounds. He spent much of the early season in coach Todd Haley's doghouse, and the suspension may alter the team's long-term plans for him. With Bowe returning in time for many fantasy playoff games, he's worth keeping on rosters.

Dwayne Bowe - WR - Chiefs Chiefs beat writer Josh Looney expects Dwayne Bowe to return to the starting lineup in Week 15 "as long as he's in game shape."
Bowe has had conditioning issues before, so it's not a lock that he'll report at Todd Haley's ideal weight after being away on suspension for four weeks. Bowe will be a quality fantasy play against the Browns if he shows up in shape, however. We'd tentatively count on using him as a WR2/3. December 14 - 6:43 p.m. ET

</TD></TR><TR><TD class=vaLink>Bowe has been banned from all team activities since getting suspended on Nov. 17. The good news is that Haley thinks Bowe has kept himself in shape. "I would expect him to get right back in the mix," Haley said. We're tentatively expecting Bowe to start and play a full complement of snaps Sunday against the Browns. The Chiefs' passing game desperately needs his explosiveness.

Despite missing team work for the last month, Bowe reported in tip-top shape and will likely resume every-down duties Sunday vs. the Browns. Obviously the Chiefs' most skilled pass catcher, Bowe is a good bet to resume leading the team in targets on a weekly basis. He'll also practice all this week with Matt Cassel, so "rust" isn't a concern. Cleveland is 25th against the pass.

Dwayne Bowe - WR - Chiefs Chiefs beat writer Josh Looney expects the rust Dwayne Bowe showed last week to be behind him.
Bowe was targeted 10 times in his first game off the four-week suspension, but only came up with four catches and dropped a would-be touchdown. Looney liked Bowe's speed and performance in the game and we consider Bowe a solid WR3 play this week. December 26
